leapt outta bed with great eagerness this morning to pull a shot of andrew b's ecco daterra espresso reserve on caesar vibiemme.
i wasn't too successful at first: the usual zero point on the mazzer mini was too fine. i had to loosen the grind up a bit.
then, success, esp. with the body -- thick, syrupy, falling in drops that quiver like motor oil. excellent.
i pulled both a double ristretto and a cappuccino. some coffee lovers may find that a ristretto double gets a lost a bit in the milk; others will like that marriage fine.
i certainly did! yummy! i'll be talking more about this coffee tomorrow or the next day. . .
