as i suggested to myself the other day, i made up peter g's counterculture kenya aa embu auction lot as turkish. and i was right -- it does make a fantastic turkish coffee.
turkish gets a bad rap, but if made with care, it can be wonderful stuff. you just have to be careful and keep the slurry from boiling; wield your instant-read thermometer with care.
i also have to thank jessica marshall of batdorf for my husband's favorite espresso, the dancing goats -- and a pound of the decaf too! this winter has passed so pleasantly with the decaf for an after-dinner espresso.
