peter g's counterculture rwanda karaba super lot from the other day smells exactly like pecans everytime i open the bag. i've just come to adore its caramel-with-gray-sea-salt aftertaste.
this morning i decided to try it as a single-origin espresso.
much to my surprise, it has really good crema, and an excellent cough-syrup-y body. it's a little bright and cuts a nice figure through the milk in a cappuccino, which is i think the best for it.
i drank it easily this morning without sugar. i didn't even have to adjust my mazzer mini -- the coffee worked perfectly as the zero point, and pulled like a 25-second dream on caesar vibiemme.
recommended!
